B Hive Salon is a small, local, women-owned business that offers hair services for every texture, 3 levels of tanning and red light therapy.  We also carry beauty products that our community has shown interest in, in a wide range of price points and gifts made by local artists. We are located in a previously established salon but we have made many changes hoping to improve the quality of services available to Deep Creek and the surrounding areas.  

 

We will always do our best to accommodate our clients needs and satisfaction but because we are small, we are limited in what we can offer in the way of returns so we ask that you make informed purchase decisions when you are in our space. Our staff is always willing to answer any questions you may have to help you with whatever you need. Please see our return and refund policy for more details.  

 

If I'm not happy with my hair, can I get a refund?

 Please be prepared at your time of service with visual aids to help explain what you are looking for. If you are a new client,  we recommend scheduling a free consultation with one of our stylist before your appointment to make sure that you feel confident that you have communicated your needs and are understood by your stylist and that they have the skills to carry out your wishes. After your service, you have 7 days to make sure that you are satisfied. We will be happy to make any reasonable adjustments to your hair that are needed, at no cost to you, as long as you set your retouch appt within that 7 day time frame as long as you notify us within the 7 day timeline. Any touch-ups that are outside of what you asked for, or outside of there 7 day period will be done at regular pricing.  

 

If I buy one of your retail gift items, is it returnable?

If you would like to bring back an unopened or unused gift item, you have 14 days to do so and will be given a store credit on one of our gift cards and that can be used to pay for any of our retail items, for tanning, or hair services with a staff stylist, but not for hair services with a booth rent stylist. We special order our gift items from artisans so there is no guarantee that we can replace that item or return it as some gifts are one of a kind or seasonal.  

 

If I buy hair products and I don't like what it did to my hair, can I bring it back?

We offer a 14 day window on hair products.  You may return hair products for a gift card, as long as there is 3/4 or more of the bottle remaining.  It should only take around 2 uses of a product to see if it works for you. We also offer you the service of product knowledge if you have questions about how to properly use a product before or after you purchase it, as improper use is a common reason for wanting to return a product.  

 

If I bought a lotion and I don't like it, can I return it?

Unfortunately, we are not able to take a bottle of lotion back into our store once it has left. We offer samples of all our lotions for you to try before you purchase them so please make sure you test a lotion on your skin before making an investment in a full bottle.  

 

If I buy a tanning membership and change my mind, can I cancel it?

If you decide to cancel your tanning membership with B Hive within 30 days from the date of purchase, we will gladly refund you the amount you paid for your membership minus the sessions used. The tanning session cost will be calculated at the single session rate based on the time and the number of tanning sessions used. You will receive your refund within 15 business days. If you paid with cash, you will receive a check. If you paid with credit card, you will be refunded on that card.  If you paid with a gift card, you will be given a new gift card.  

 

If I have a gift card to BHive, can I trade it in for cash?

Gift certificates and gift cards are final sale. You may only redeem them for retail items, tanning memberships and sessions or for hair services with one of our staff stylists. You cannot use them to pay for booth rent hair stylists or redeem them for cash. They do not expire.
